In Fort Collins, Colorado, Colorado State University’s Office of Community and Economic Development was in the process of applying to become an ‘Innovation and Economic Prosperity University’ by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities. Working alongside university leadership and staff at the Community and Economic Development office, Creek Consulting was brought on to facilitate stakeholder conversations and support the process design. As a result of this collective effort, Colorado State University was one of only six universities awarded this designation in 2016. Currently only 54 universities nationwide hold this credential.
